How to stay kawaii at home!

There are many ways in staying connected to kawaii culture at your own home. In this post I will be listing some ways to stay in touch with kawaii culture at home.

1. Purchasing a kawaii box! I have talked about the kawaii box and all of the goodies that are inside of one in my other post. This is a great way to stay kawaii simply because of the items that are in the boxes.

2. Wearing and purchasing kawaii clothes. Wearing clothes that are kawaii will always make you feel close to the culture and it'll make you feel and look cute! There are many websites that you can buy kawaii clothes from. One website that is good is jukustore.com.

3. Having kawaii decor! Decorating your room or whole house with kawaii furniture would be an awsome way expressing your love for kawaii culture. There are many websites to buy kawaii furniture from. My favorite website is supercutekawaii.com.

Watching kawaii anime shows. If you don't know any kawaii anime you can simply search them up online. An example of a kawaii anime show would be Gakuen Babysitters (School Babysitters). This anime is about cute babies and how they have fun in daycare.
4. Watching kawaii anime shows. If you don't know any kawaii anime you can simply search them up online. An example of a kawaii anime show would be Gakuen Babysitters (School Babysitters). This anime is about cute babies and how they have fun in daycare.

How has COVID-19 affected kawaii culture so far?

A lot has happen during this time, one of the topics that most concern me is Japan's kawaii culture. I say this because the best way to express your love for this culture is roaming around Japan and showing everyone your style. People would go to cafes, bars, stores, and even restaurants to display their contribute to kawaii culture, but this privilege has been temporary taken away due to the current pandemic going on. Everyone is currently under quarantine and is not allowed to go out unless its essential. For example, going to the grocery store, hospital, etc. Sadly, no one is walking around Japan, showing off their kawaii outfits. To be specific, here are some things that will be canceled due to COVID- 19, The 16th cosplay festival Nippombashi Street Festa that was to take place on March 15 in Den Den Town, and AnimeJapan (formerly Tokyo Anime Fair). These events would have been great opportunities to express peoples love and appreciation to kawaii culture. So to conclude, this pandemic has so far took away some very important events away from kawaii culture. As sad as this may be, staying home and practicing good hygiene is the best option for everyone.

Free Post (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Favorite Kawaii Website- Blippo

In this post, I will be showing you guys my favorite kawaii website and give you some reasons why I adore this site. I will also be showing you guys some of the things I would personally buy. But first Here is the link to the website, feel free to check it out yourself https://www.blippo.com/

One of my favorite things about this website is that it has so many categorizes to glimpse on. The categorizes go from their newest products all the way to fashion.

They also have their own subscription box, this comes with a variety of kawaii items. With an effordable pay of $19.99 each month, you can get the latest snacks, accessories, and toys. This similar to the Wowbox I mentioned in my feature post.

Something that I would love to buy would be there snacks and candies. The reason I say this is because they all look appealing to the eye and they all seem like an enjoyable munch. I would start off with their Sanrio Chocolate Rice Crackers by Befco.

I would also buy their Sumikko Gurashi gum, I say this because it does not only come with gum, it also comes with stickers! I would say this is a great deal, considering it is only $1.90.

In this post I will be notifying you with all of the newest updates on Japan's cuteness culture. I will be showing you the latest trends on food, fashion, entertainment, and more! Here is the link I used to help me see what is happening in Japan's culture of cuteness.
https://www.kawaiigazette.com/en/category/kawaii-news-en/

New Wowbox- This is a monthly subscription box with kawaii's finest snacks. This package include Japan's latest treats. This boxes change every month to keep things fun and interesting, this month is the Sakura box which is filled with new & limited sakura-themed flavored snacks. They are also including the world's first Strawberry Coca-Cola for their add-on drink!

Sanrio personalized labels by Ludilabel- Not only pens but also erasers, staplers, notebooks, diaries and everything you want to make yours. The objects labels by Ludilabel are durable and of excellent quality and it is possible to customize them from top to bottom: the text to write on them (your name or “do not touch!”), the color and now also your favorite Sanrio characters. On Ludilabel there are also thermoadhesive labels for clothes, luggage tags and much more! If you are curious to see them more closely, here is a link to a video in which they show you how to use Ludilabel labels to give your stationery items an extra touch https://youtu.be/z_yOEHWSYrY.

Tamagotchi On- Tamagotchi On is the first Tamagotchi marketed in Western countries to have a color screen, as well as new “social” features. In the past our virtual pet did nothing but eat, sleep and poo, now it can travel to other cities, go to restaurants, adopt a pet and even find a soulmate. In fact, two Tamagotchi On can connect to each other, allowing the characters to make friends, get married and have offspring.

Original Media Post ( ́ ◕◞ε◟◕`)

How Cuteness is Created

Throughout my blog, I've been showing you viewers pictures of animes and the well known appearance they all have. What I'm trying to say is that I have not yet showed you how the big eyed, slim face, straight soft hair anime characters are created. In this post, I'm going to show you guys how easy and effortless it is to achieve your typical kawaii anime character. I will show you how I create an anime character step by step. Here is the link of the video I used, https://youtu.be/_lVO_qFQEv.
1. Face structure- First you create an oval that comes to a sharp end. You then draw guidelines for the face, this will help make your eyes, nose, and lips look aligned.

2. Facial features- After drawing the structure, you will then use the guidelines and draw the eyes, nose, lips, and hair.

3. Body- Now that you have the face and hair done, you can now start drawing the body, start by drawing the shoulders, and draw an outline of what you chose for the clothing.

4. Details- This part is important just like the rest because this is where you can get creative and add your own style to your character.
5. Outline- This is my favorite part because this is what gives the whole drawing the cartoon look, using a black fine tip is always gives you the best results.
6. Color- The final part is coloring the drawing, this is another part where you can be creative and add your own style.

Top 5 Kawaii Anime's (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

My Top 5 Kawaii Animes

1. Seven Deadly Sins- This anime is on Netflix and is one of the best animes I've watched. All of the characters on this show are kawaii inside and out. This is my number 1 because I can watch this anime over and over again because of the overall look in this anime.
2.Kiss Him, Not Me- After watching this anime, I can happily say that it was not a waste of time. I really enjoyed this anime because of the kawaii moments with the characters. This is my number 2 because I adore the characters appearance and the whole story about this anime.
3.Maid Sama- I have also watch this anime and I have to say everything about this show is so adorable and kawaii, the visuals and characters never fail to make me be in awe. This is my number 3 because although I love the way the characters are drawn, but I don't like the main characters personality, she's stubborn.
4. Sailor Moon- This anime is very well known for their characters style, color scheme, and girl power. This is a prime example of what kawaii is. This is my number 4 because I have not fully watch this show, I'm sure when I finish it I'll have a different opinion on it but for now all I can say is that there characters are kawaii.
5. Dragon Ball Super- I am pretty sure many of you viewers have either watched or heard of this anime. This anime is kawaii because of their characters and personalities. This is my number 5 because this show involves many brutal fights, but also have lots of times where the characters would have cute moments that make up for the fights.

My Opinion ╰(◡‿◡✿╰)

My Opinion on Cuteness Culture

My perspective or opinion on kawaii culture is that anyone at any age can enjoy the adorable things that these creators bring to life. I believe this culture should be more popular or well-known because I want everyone to experience the cuteness of anime characters, shows, toys, food, and or anything you can think of.

Kawaii culture is meant to make people happy or help them express them selves in ways they are comfortable with. The reason why kawaii culture is so popular in Japan is because can be found in anime, fashion, art, music, lifestyle and more. If you would like to know more about the culture of cuteness in Japan, check out this link and read about where it originated from and how it evolved into what it is today. https://yumetwins.com/news/what-is-kawaii
